Laws are a “tool” to move business forward, and sometimes they can be both a “spear” to attack and a “shield” to protect. Based on my three years of experience working in companies, I place great importance on putting myself on the same level as managers and business managers, and working together to come up with strategic and practical solutions.
In particular, when it comes to overseas expansion and support in the renewable energy field, we respond appropriately based on not only understanding the legal system but also taking into account the “temperature on the ground” and the real tension of decision-making.
Strengths and Differentiators
I have been working on cross-border legal affairs in a practical way through my experience in three countries. He holds both an LL.M. and an MBA in the United States, providing multifaceted support at the intersection of law and business.
In particular, in the field of renewable energy, we have a wealth of experience in investment projects in Japan by overseas investors and in Southeast Asian countries, and are familiar with contracts and permits based on complex systems and regulations.
In addition, we can provide practical support including business negotiations, contract negotiations, and internal coordination in English. Regarding ESG legal affairs, I write a series of columns for “Jiji Bulletin Malaysia” and strive to grasp and disseminate trends.
Currently, I am working on entrepreneurship and management in Malaysia, and I believe that my great strength is that I can provide practical advice rooted in the field, not just legal advice.
