Announcement of Opening of Law Firm

Dear Sir/Madam, We hope you are all in good health and wellbeing during this midsummer season.

I, Mitsuru Misawa, left Atsumi Sakai Law Office and the Foreign Law Joint Business on June 30, 2025, and opened the “Borderless Business Law Office” on July 1, 2025.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the many projects I have been involved in in Japan and overseas, mainly in the energy field and cross-border trading field, and for the many guidance and encouragement I have given you so far.
In the new office, we will focus on ESG fields including renewable energy, cross-border transactions, and Southeast Asia legal affairs, and our belief is to carefully work on each and every one of our assignments, thoroughly accompany our clients, and provide advice that exceeds their expectations.
I will continue to cherish my relationship with you and devote myself as a lawyer who accompanies my clients.

At the same time, the Malaysian subsidiary “Borderless Consulting Sdn. Bhd.” We have established it.
In order to further contribute to the overseas expansion of Japan companies, we hope to establish a corporation in Malaysia and mediate investment projects for Japan companies in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
In addition, we would like to cooperate with local lawyers in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries to advise local subsidiaries of Japan companies on legal affairs and compliance related to ESG fields, including renewable energy.
